Huge views to the west (Jemez Mountains-sunsets) to the Sandia Mountain range, and southwest with some city views to Los Alamos north. Beautiful sunsets.

SIERRA DEL NORTE

Sierra del Norte is located about 4 miles northeast of the Santa Fe Plaza off Hyde Park Road (the road to the Santa Fe Skin Basin).

Directions: From the plaza, go north on Washington Ave, right on Artist Rd/Hyde Park Rd. The entrance, not gated, is west off of Hyde Park Rd. There are other routes to this area (from Gonzales Rd off Hyde Park Rd, and also east from Bishop’s Lodge Road at Valley Drive).

This is a gradual, sloping mountainous subdivision with heavy pinon tree coverage. The lots are flat to semi-steep with about 200 homes, single and multi-story. Prices range from $1mil to $3mil+, 1-5 years old. Lot sizes range from 1+ acres, with paved roads. City water, sewer and cable/high speed.

The views are westerly (Jemez Mountain sunsets) from Sandia to Los Alamos (night lights) with some homes having limited city views. There are numerous hiking trails from the Dale Ball Trail on the east side of the subdivision and many other off Hyde Park Rd to the Santa Fe Ski Basin.
